Gombe State Governor Inaugurates Market Built by Yobe State

Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has officially inaugurated the Ngalda Modern Market located in Ngalda Town within Fika Local Government Area. This market was developed under the direction of Governor Mai Mala Buni from Yobe State.

During the commissioning, Governor Buni highlighted that this market project is a strategic part of his administration's focus on creating economic infrastructure, which aims to boost local commerce and enhance the quality of life for citizens.

He emphasized the importance of modern markets as key contributors to grassroots economic advancement, explaining that a well-organized trading environment leads to increased productivity, higher revenue, and sustainable business ventures.

Buni further noted that naming the market after the Gombe state governor symbolizes the strong ties and collaboration between the two states.

He stated that this initiative represents a commitment to inter-state cooperation and the shared objective of fostering regional development in the North-East.

The governor also mentioned that the new facility would alleviate congestion in informal trading sectors, providing small and medium-sized enterprises with a more organized environment for business growth.
