In a shocking turn of events, a 76-year-old grandmother named Annah Mosibudi Malatji was allegedly murdered by her 43-year-old boyfriend in Rwanda Village, Letsitele, located in Limpopo’s Mopani district, South Africa.
Reports from Daily Sun SA indicate that the tragic incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday, 8 February 2026.
According to Beatrice, the daughter of the deceased, a neighbor responded to the scene after hearing an argument between her mother and her boyfriend. Upon arrival, they found Gogo Annah lying in a pool of blood, suffering from multiple stab wounds on her upper body.
The family revealed that Annah had filed six police reports against the suspect prior to her death, expressing concerns for her safety, yet her pleas for protection went unanswered.
Fearing for their safety, Beatrice voiced anxiety regarding the possibility of the suspect obtaining bail and threatening them once again. They are urging the court not to release him.
