A deeply moving video has captured the heart-wrenching scene of a young girl identified as Kushim, weeping profusely during the funeral service for her father, who was tragically killed in a recent attack in Plateau State.

Gunmen reportedly stormed the Gari Ya Waye neighbourhood in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North, on Palm Sunday, causing the deaths of more than 30 individuals and leaving many others injured.

The video was shared online by a Facebook user, Nkechi Nnorom Abok, who noted the child's anguished cries for her father to return.

Abok wrote about the burial, stating, “And we buried our de@d today. A hard working man with a wife and children. He had so much strength in her.”

Abok lamented the victim's fate, adding, "He did nothing to anyone. Only that he was a Christian and minding his own businesses."

A video of the incident and the girl's grief has been circulating, along with images from the burial site.
