Kayla Nicole Jones, a known influencer and YouTuber, is facing a legal battle after her hairstylist has accused her of assault during a work trip in Los Angeles.
The hairstylist, Hanissatou Adam, who is professionally recognized as Nissa The Super Stylist, has filed a lawsuit claiming the incident took place in 2024 when the pair were traveling together for a music video project. According to legal documents, the situation reportedly began to deteriorate when Adam posed several questions that seemed to annoy Jones.
Adam alleges that Jones issued a warning to her to cease her inquiries and threatened to slap her if she persisted. She claims that the situation worsened the following day after a lengthy work session on the music video, during which she purportedly heard Jones express complaints about her treatment.
Efforts were made by Adam to calmly address the issue at hand, as she recounted trying to confront the matter in a “calm and reasonable manner.”
However, in the lawsuit, it is claimed that Jones’s anger intensified during this exchange. Adam states that Jones “swung her arm in an intentional manner and made contact” with her eye.
In the aftermath of the alleged incident, Adam claims to have retreated to her room in an Airbnb they shared and reached out to a friend for a ride home. She also alleges that while she awaited this pickup, Jones continued to yell insults from outside her door.
Adam is now pursuing legal action against Jones for assault, battery, and emotional distress. At the time the news of the lawsuit was made public, there was no response from representatives of Kayla Nicole Jones regarding the allegations.
