U.S. President Donald Trump was observed with a prominent bruise on his left hand while speaking about his Gaza 'board of peace' at a gathering in Davos, Switzerland.
The bruise appeared after Trump injured himself on Thursday during a signing ceremony related to the peace board at the World Economic Forum, reportedly when he 'bumped his hand against the edge of the signing table.'
Clarifying the injury on Air Force One, the president mentioned that he received the significant purple bruise during the Board of Peace event in Switzerland and stated he was feeling 'very good.'
'I nicked it on the table, so I applied a bit of - what do they call it - cream on it, but I hit it,' Trump recounted to reporters on the way to Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
He also seemed to attribute the visible bruise to the aspirin he has been taking.
'I recommend aspirin if you want to protect your heart, but avoid it if you prefer to stay bruise-free,' Trump suggested, emphasizing that he consumes the 'large aspirin.'
'And when you're on the larger dose of aspirin, they say you'll experience some bruising,' he added.
