Heineken is gearing up to host significant events on April 5, 2026, which falls on Easter Sunday, bringing its characteristic fusion of fashion, music, and premium experiences to two prominent Nigerian cities.
As part of the continuing Heineken City of Cities initiative, the brand has planned the Heineken Experience in Port Harcourt, coinciding with Young Jonn Live in Abuja, both scheduled for April 5, 2026.
These events, under the umbrella of the Nigerian Breweries Big Fiesta campaign, highlight Heineken’s dedication to creating memorable urban gatherings that capture the dynamism and cultural identity of Nigerian cities.
Building on its debut at the 2025 Heineken Lagos Fashion Week, the City of Cities platform is now advancing to Port Harcourt, showcasing fashion, music, and creative expressions unique to the Garden City. Port Harcourt, recognised for its vibrant creativity, active social scene, and distinct culture, is a fitting location for this curated City of Cities event, promising an evening of fashion, music, and premium Heineken moments tailored for the city.
During its introduction at the 2025 Heineken Lagos Fashion Week, a remarkable 46-piece collection curated by Omoyemi Akerele, Founder of Lagos Fashion Week, featured leading African designers including Atafo, ESO by Liman, Nkwo, Onalaja, Dimeji Ilori, LFJ, Cynthia Abila, Eki Kere, and Oshobor, among others. The City of Cities concept continues its progression, arriving in Port Harcourt with a distinctive display of fashion, music, and creative culture reflective of the Garden City's character. Port Harcourt, celebrated for its energetic creativity, lively social environment, and unique cultural footprint, is an ideal setting for the City of Cities experience – an evening crafted to offer fashion, music, and premium Heineken enjoyment specifically for its residents.
Simultaneously, Abuja will host a dynamic musical event featuring the popular artist Young Jonn performing live.
