If you were online on the previous day, you would likely have noticed that the traditional wedding of Simi Sanya and Femi Dapson featured an abundance of fashionable moments. The event transformed social media into a showcase of stunning outfits, with attendees appearing eager to make an impression.
Among those who embraced this stylish spirit were Hilda Baci and her partner,Damilola Akinwunmi. They opted for a unified blue color scheme that was both chic and fitting for a wedding.
Hilda Baci, a three-time Guinness World Record holder known for her widely publicized cooking marathon, donned a gown that harmonized beautifully with its colors. The mermaid-style dress hugged her figure perfectly, featuring a structured corset bodice with a sweetheart neckline along with soft off-shoulder straps. The bodice showcased a gentle sky-blue hue embellished with turquoise floral lace appliqué, adding depth and texture to the dress.
The skirt further enhanced the outfit with a gradual color transition. It began with a vibrant cobalt blue at the waist, flowing through to a teal and finally culminating in a rich emerald green at the hem. The entire skirt was intricately beaded, creating a luxurious, jewel-like appearance in the light.
A mid-thigh slit exposed her sparkling green crystal-embellished strappy heels, perfectly matching the color theme. Hilda completed her look with a striking turquoise gele adorned with a dramatic floral fold, complemented by a long braid cascading down one shoulder. Her makeup, warm and radiant, allowed the colors of her ensemble to shine.
Damilola Akinwunmi coordinated with Hilda’s palette while retaining a traditional menswear style. He wore a powder blue agbada layered over a navy- embroidered waistcoat, adding an element of depth beneath his flowing attire. The ensemble was completed with matching powder blue sokoto trousers, black loafers, and a navy-and-white patterned fila.
Accessorizing with round tinted sunglasses, a gold watch, and a silver bracelet, the couple arrived at the event perfectly aligned with the vibrant atmosphere of the day.
