Emmanuella Adewale-Odebiyi, the wife of prominent Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, widely known as Kwam 1, has strongly denied circulating rumours suggesting her children have different fathers.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account on Monday evening, the businesswoman and social figure addressed the false narratives questioning the paternity of her children.
She clarified that all three of her children were fathered by businessman Joshua Adewale, her former spouse, prior to her marriage to Kwam 1.
The Seriki Iyalaje of Egbaland also declared that she would no longer tolerate disparagement of her reputation.
Adewale-Odebiyi issued a stern warning that legal proceedings would be initiated against any individual or group found to be disseminating false information or engaging in character defamation.
"I'd like to clearly address a false narrative that has been used to bully and misrepresent me over the years," she stated. "I have three beautiful children, all for one man, not four children for four different fathers, as has been wrongly circulated."
She emphasized, "They all bear the same surname, Adewale. Moving forward, I will not tolerate any further defamation of my character. Legal action will be taken against anyone who continues to spread false information about me. Please respect the truth."
PREMIUM TIMES recalls that Kwam 1 and Emmanuella exchanged vows on November 18, 2021, in a grand ceremony held at the Palace of the Alake of Egbaland in Abeokuta.
Their marriage has since been subject to persistent rumours, including speculation about potential divorce and separation, often fueled by unsubstantiated claims of infidelity.
However, in June 2025, Kwam 1 asserted that Emmanuella remained his sole wife, publicly addressing his marital status.
He also clarified that his estranged wife, Fathia "Titi Marshal" Titilola, whom he had married in March 2018, was no longer involved in his life. The musician dismissed any intentions of taking another wife, stating his focus was on other pursuits.
Previously, in August 2025, Emmanuella had drawn attention with a reflective social media post. In it, she declared an end to compromising her standards for others, signalling a period of personal growth and self-affirmation after facing significant challenges.
She spoke of finding profound peace, describing it as the kind of tranquility that follows overcoming adversity. For an extended period, she admitted to allowing past betrayals to define her.
This perspective shifted, she explained, once she truly recognized her inherent self-worth. "I looked in the mirror and remembered that I am enough, not because of what anyone else says or does, but because of who I am at my core," she recounted. "That realisation was the beginning of healing. Now I live with a promise to myself, never again will I lower my standards for anyone. Love, respect and trust are not negotiable."
