A new development has emerged concerning the estate of the late music legend Michael Jackson. Reports indicate potential discord among his children, with Paris Jackson reportedly in disagreement with the individuals managing her father's estate.
According to legal documents filed, estate executors John Branca and John McClain stated that an arrangement had previously been agreed upon involving Paris and her brothers, Prince Jackson and Bigi Jackson (also known as Blanket). However, the executors alleged that Paris subsequently withdrew from this deal shortly before its completion.
The executors indicated that the arrangement was largely negotiated with the assistance of Bigi’s legal representatives, whom they believed were acting on behalf of all three siblings at the time. This situation reportedly shifted when Paris's legal team rescinded their agreement and introduced new conditions that were significantly different from the initial terms.
The core of the disagreement appears to be centred on financial oversight, specifically the procedures for approving payments and bonuses to legal counsel handling the estate. It is understood that Paris advocated for more stringent transparency measures, including requiring court authorisation for specific expenditures.
Conversely, a source close to Paris Jackson has disputed the executors' account, suggesting she is being unfairly singled out for seeking accountability regarding the family's financial matters. This source also asserted that no definitive agreement was ever reached as portrayed by the executors.
This situation has attracted attention, with Bigi Jackson reportedly taking a role in mediating between the involved parties to find common ground.
Since Michael Jackson's passing in 2009, his estate has remained one of the most lucrative in the entertainment industry, making any internal conflicts a subject of considerable interest.
