Candidates are expected to arrive strictly on the specified dates mentioned on their invitation slips.

"The Jigawa State Police Command informs all applicants that the physical and credentials screening for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force will commence on March 9, 2026," he confirmed.

The screening will continue through to April 18 at the Police State Headquarters in Dutse.

Lawan specified that the required dress code includes white canvas shoes, a white T-shirt, white shorts, and white stockings.

Applicants must bring their application submission slip, physical screening form, invitation slip with designated table number, and credentials screening form.

Other mandatory documents consist of the National Identity Number printout or card, O’Level certificates, and either a birth certificate or age declaration.

Additionally, candidates should present a certificate of origin from their local government or state, a trade test result for specialists, a guarantor’s form with passport-sized photographs, and other pertinent credentials.

Lawan cautioned that candidates who lack the necessary documentation, fail to adhere to the dress code, or arrive outside their scheduled dates will not be allowed to participate in the screening process.

Citing the Commissioner of Police for the state, Dahiru Muhammad, Lawan urged shortlisted candidates to maintain order and comply with the provided guidelines.

“Muhammad emphasized that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and called on the public to report any individual requesting financial compensation.

“We encourage applicants to fully cooperate with officials to ensure a smooth and effective screening process,” Lawan concluded. (NAN)
