Ahmad Labbo, who serves as the Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has requested that the State Comptroller of Immigration guarantees a seamless and efficient screening process for individuals planning to attend the 2026 Hajj at the airport.
In a strategic meeting convened at the Board’s headquarters, Labbo and Comptroller Tahir Musa engaged in discussions regarding enhanced security protocols and logistical arrangements for the upcoming Hajj trip.
The Director General underscored the critical need for advanced screening equipment and streamlined procedures to avoid delays, aiming to facilitate a smooth boarding experience for all pilgrims.
He also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration with security agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims as they travel from the Hajj camp to the airport.
“The safety and dignity of our pilgrims are paramount,” Labbo remarked, expressing appreciation for the unwavering support of various security personnel devoted to ensuring a successful Hajj operation.
In response, the immigration authority, represented by Musa, pledged full cooperation and assured the Board of their commitment to providing a secure environment and enhancing the overall welfare of all pilgrims throughout the 2026 Hajj.
