A colossal banner depicting Donald Trump was recently showcased on Thursday at the United States Department of Justice headquarters in Washington, D.C., drawing significant attention to the government's role in shaping the country's leading law enforcement body.

This blue-toned image is now prominently positioned on the historic Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building, which has a reputation for striving for independence from political pressures.

The banner features the slogan "Make America Safe Again," reflecting the administration's focus on combating crime.

Since assuming office again last year, Trump’s Justice Department has been met with backlash from critics who argue that some investigations have targeted individuals perceived as opponents of the president. Notably mentioned are the prosecutions involving former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, alongside inquiries associated with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and various Democratic lawmakers.

Nevertheless, the Justice Department has dismissed allegations of political bias, claiming that their recent actions are rectifications of what they term as previous instances of "weaponization" within federal law enforcement.

Two federal criminal cases previously initiated against Trump by former special counsel Jack Smith—one concerning the confiscation of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate and another related to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021—were ultimately dismissed or abandoned following Trump's electoral triumph in November 2020.

Banners of this nature have also emerged at other federal institutions, including the Departments of Labor and Agriculture, each showcasing messages that correlate with administrative objectives.

A spokesperson for the Justice Department commented that the agency is "honored to mark 250 years of our great nation and our historical efforts to ensure America’s safety at President Trump’s instruction."
