A man in northern Sweden is facing scrutiny for allegedly assisting more than 100 men in purchasing sexual services from his wife, as stated by a prosecutor.
In accordance with Swedish law, while it is illegal to buy sexual services, the act of selling them is not considered a crime.
The suspect, who is in his 60s, was apprehended in late October following a report made by his wife to the authorities. He has been held in custody since that time. Prosecutor Ida Annerstedt indicated that he is believed to have facilitated or profited from the sale of his wife's sexual services.
