Mel B has cast doubt on the possibility of a Spice Girls documentary or a full group reunion as the iconic band nears its 30th anniversary.
The artist stated that despite apparent interest in a documentary that would feature all five members – Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and herself – she feels it might not be executed "in the right way."
She elaborated that for such a project to be successful, it would require complete honesty, suggesting that not all members of the group might be prepared to share their experiences openly.
Furthermore, Mel B addressed speculation about a potential reunion tour, firmly stating that there are currently no plans for the group to perform together again. "If it does happen, it would be a shock to me," she commented.
She indicated that she has moved past the idea of actively pushing for a group comeback, no longer feeling the need to force a reunion. While cherishing memories from her time with the Spice Girls, she confessed uncertainty about whether she would even desire to return to performing with them.
These remarks suggest that any significant celebrations for the Spice Girls' three-decade milestone are improbable to include a comprehensive group event, likely leaving fans to commemorate the occasion through their existing music rather than new ventures.
