Law enforcement officials revealed that Hicks was at Luna’s Internet Cafe, where she allegedly left her children—who are aged 15, 13, 10, 6, 2, 1, and 11 months—in the car for approximately 40 minutes.

Additionally, it was noted that Hicks was operating the vehicle with a suspended license, and some of the children were not securely fastened in car seats.

Following her arrest, Hicks was released on her own recognizance and instructed to wear a GPS monitoring device.
