The mother of 13-year-old Anu, who is requesting a DNA test from Davido, has recently spoken out about the situation.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Ms. Ayo Labinjoh asserted that she met Davido 13 years prior when she worked as a waitress, claiming they had a relationship that led to the birth of her daughter, Anu.
Regarding the DNA tests that Davido has referenced, Ms. Labinjoh alleged that the negative results were fabricated. She mentioned that since Davido holds US citizenship, she plans to ask the US State Department to reach out to the Embassy in Lagos or Abuja to oversee and ensure an independent DNA test.
In her post, she stated, "Good evening, we are heading to bed now. First things first, my name is Ayo Labinjoh. I’m NOT Davido’s baby mama or a derogatory term. I am fiercely protective of my daughter’s mental well-being, following the extensive bullying she encountered for years. My daughter suffered emotionally, fainted in school, and underwent psychotherapy. It surprises me to see this story trending globally once again as we have largely moved past it. David Adeleke has largely disregarded my existence for years, under the impression that he had picked up a prostitute from GQClub in Ibadan. I was a waitress, not a street worker. I hail from a respectable family, and my late father dedicated his life to improving Nigeria before he fell victim to poisoning. My daughter is a bright, tech-savvy achiever. I do not maintain any friendships, and no one at school is permitted to discuss her family. I was taken aback to find her trending because her father chose to derogatorily label me, despite having undergone five DNA tests. Previously, his lawyer, Bobo Ajudua, convinced the public that two tests were done, and I selected a hospital for the procedure. Dr. Deji Adeleke escorted us to a lab, not a hospital, where Anu’s blood was drawn in 2014 and subsequently discarded without our knowledge, leading to the creation of a fake result. Wale Sobola was the lab technician who posed as 'Dr. Alex,' and a sibling of Sotayo Gaga, a Nollywood actress, previously claimed he never conducted a test for Anu and that the discarded blood contributed to his own misfortunes. We were misled, compromising Anu’s mental health, while they falsely claimed we had undergone two tests, now five, and yet he asserts he has never met me. I am not fighting for my daughter’s sake; she is advocating for her own identity. David messaged my daughter tonight, threatening imprisonment and verbally abusing her. Since David is a US citizen, I will officially request the US State Department’s assistance in facilitating an honest DNA test. I refrain from elaborating further at this moment. The language directed at me was appalling. My daughter did not ask to be born. It is deeply wrong to say you have never met me or to tell your family I was a prostitute. Bullying my daughter is utterly unacceptable."
