Notable on the list is Tukur Mamu, a publisher recognized for his role in mediating the release of hostages following the 2022 Abuja–Kaduna train attack. Mr. Mamu is currently facing prosecution for alleged terrorism financing, charges he has consistently denied.

Additionally, various groups have been identified as terrorism financiers. These include Boko Haram (also known as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal- Jihad), its splinter group, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Details regarding further actions and specific accusations are expected to be released.
