Hafsat, a Nigerian woman, experienced a shocking encounter while visiting a business center when a man approached her with inappropriate advances, insisting that he needed to touch her to show his appreciation for her beauty.
In a video she recorded, the man asserted that it was necessary for him to physically express his admiration, claiming that she looked attractive. When Hafsat insisted that appreciation could be conveyed without physical contact, he countered that he simply wished to feel her skin. This prompted her to express her discomfort, leading the man to label her as having a 'low mentality.'
He stated, "That is low mentality. In outside country, you have the right to touch anybody to appreciate the beauty you see," indicating a belief that such behavior is acceptable in other cultures.
In response to his comments, Hafsat raised her voice, firmly requesting that he refrain from touching her again.
The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, and many are weighing in on the appropriateness of his remarks. A video of the exchange has gone viral, further fueling the conversation on public conduct and personal boundaries.
