A Nigerian lady identified as Nafisat Usamot Omotosho has published a touching message of appreciation for her husband's senior wife, characterising her as a remarkably generous and joyful person.
In a social media post shared on Thursday, April 9, 2026, Nafisat recounted the warm and enthusiastic reception she experienced upon her initial meeting with her co-wife.
She specifically commended her for her selfless act of allowing her to share her husband, and stated that their lives have been filled with happiness since.
"I recall the very first day I met my co-wife (my husband's first wife). She embraced me and greeted me with such cheerfulness that I was instantly captivated by her personality,” Nafisat wrote.
"She is an exceptionally generous woman and a cheerful giver, demonstrating great selflessness in allowing me to share her husband.
"Moreover, she shared numerous insights about our husband with me, as he often mentioned that he never had to solicit affection.
"From that point onwards, I began referring to her as 'Aunty mi' and would visit their home to assist her with washing clothes, familiarize myself with the children, and undertake other household tasks.
"She even attended my wedding to her husband, generously spraying a significant amount of money, and we have continued to live in harmony ever since."
