Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a presidential aspirant from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been actively engaging with party leaders following a meeting with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. This gathering, which took place in Abuja, is viewed as a strategic move in the ongoing realignments as the 2027 general elections approach.
Describing the meeting as fruitful and forward-looking, Olawepo-Hashim emphasized that the discussions focused on fostering unity within the PDP and positioning the party for a more influential role in Nigeria's multiparty democratic framework.
