As Valentine’s Day unfolded, Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress turned evangelist, took to her Instagram to deliver a stringent message to her followers. Typically a day filled with love, gifts, and romantic expressions, Dikeh leveraged the occasion to advise her audience against the temptations of premarital relationships.

In a post shared on her Instagram on Saturday, the 40-year-old actress sternly warned her disciples against engaging in fornication during the Valentine’s festivities.

To emphasize her warning, she declared that “thunder” would befall anyone among her followers who disobeyed her directive.

Dikeh expressed frustration, stating that it was unacceptable for her followers to seek her prayers while planning to violate God’s commandments.

“If I have been praying with you, and today you say you are going to have sex with a man or woman that’s not your spouse…” she stated ominously, asserting that divine consequences awaited those who would disregard her counsel.

She continued humorously, saying, “The thunder that will gum you people together is doing a press-up.” She expressed that she was not willing to support any behavior that contradicted prayers and suggested that anyone fornicating under her guidance could expect severe repercussions from God.

Dikeh went on to invoke further curses, stating anyone indulging in sexual immorality would find themselves literally stuck in the act.

In the background, PREMIUM TIMES previously reported that Dikeh had shared insights about her spiritual journey, revealing that she had contemplated becoming a pastor in her youth.

She reflected on her deep, long-standing relationship with God, which she acknowledged had shaped her mission focused on prayer and healing. Often vocal about her calling, she plans to launch an online prayer service once she discerns divine approval. Dikeh clarified that her renouncement of the secular life stemmed not from a desire for fame but from a profound instinct to live a more fulfilling life.
