Eyewitness accounts from residents suggest that the suspect, a male relative, is believed to have carried out the horrific attack earlier in the day.

One resident, speaking with evident distress, described the scene: "Three children from the family of Baba Agbaye were brutally murdered in a shocking and tragic attack." The resident further detailed the victims: "The deceased include a female student in JUPEB and two young boys. Among them were Baba Agbaye’s biological daughter, the son of his elder brother’s child, and the biological son of the suspected attacker."

The community remains in a state of deep shock following the incident.

Information obtained from individuals familiar with the family suggests that Baba Agbaye, the family patriarch, his wife, and their youngest son had visited their oil farm earlier on Tuesday. As they were returning, they encountered the suspect, who was on his way towards the Ayeka area.

"When they met him and questioned him, he claimed he was coming from Baba Agbaye’s house," a resident recounted. "They were unaware that he had already carried out the gruesome act."

The bodies of the children have been transferred to the State Specialist Hospital. Authorities are expected to launch a formal investigation into the matter.
