A woman has come under fire for what many Facebook users have deemed a lack of emotional awareness in her comment concerning an orphanage.
Sarah's House Foundation, located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, recently posted a video illustrating their facility and the experiences of orphans residing there.
While many viewers complimented the organization for its tidy setup, one comment from a lady stirred up controversy. She stated, "no matter how comfortable the orphanage home will look, my children will never be orphans... AMEN."
Although her comment received some likes, numerous others condemned it as insensitive. Responding to the criticism, the orphanage remarked, "they didn't pray to be orphans; please be a little kind with your words."
In light of the situation, the orphanage emphasized the importance of compassion in discussions around such sensitive topics.
