Amid ongoing challenges with power supply, President Bola Tinubu has assured citizens that improvements are forthcoming. This statement was made while he was addressing attendees at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention, which took place in Abuja on Friday, March 27.
In his speech, the President stated, "I assure you, many of you lamenting the problem of electricity and power; we are paying attention to that. Electricity will become better, and we assure you there will be opportunities and progress in our industrialization. Through the Grid Asset Management Company, we will inject approximately 1,500 megawatts into a new grid corridor."
He underscored that the outcomes of their initiatives are clear, impactful, and measurable, contrary to the claims of critics. "We are moving from survival mode to stability," he added, emphasizing that the government is committed to tackling power supply issues effectively.
The President's declaration aims to instill confidence among Nigerians who have experienced frequent power outages and poor supply in recent times.
