Three prominent brothers, previously known for their luxury real estate dealings, have been convicted in a significant sex trafficking trial in New York. A jury found that they drugged and assaulted numerous women over an extended period.

Tal Alexander, 39, Oren Alexander, 38, and Alon Alexander, 38, were adjudged guilty on all ten charges against them, which include sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor, during their trial in New York City.

According to prosecutors, the Alexanders leveraged their wealth, status, and connections to opulent homes to entice women to exclusive parties and private events, where they were subsequently drugged and sexually assaulted.

The Alexander brothers had established themselves as reputable real estate brokers in both New York and Miami, dealing with high-profile clients and prominent personalities.

The jury was informed that the criminal actions took place over several decades and involved multiple victims.

Throughout the five-week trial, eleven women provided testimony against the brothers. Some of the victims reported that they were minors during the events described.

Witnesses recounted that they were offered luxury gifts, vacations, and invitations to extravagant parties, only to be served drinks that had allegedly been tainted with intoxicants.

Prosecutors asserted that the defendants covertly administered drugs to the victims' drinks before assaulting them when they were unable to resist.

In the courtroom, it was also revealed that some victims were physically restrained during the assaults.

During the closing arguments, Assistant US Attorney Andrew Jones stated that the brothers executed their offenses with a lack of compassion and without guilt.

The prosecution claimed that the defendants exhibited a twisted pride in their vile actions.

The defense team refuted the charges, claiming that the encounters described were consensual. Marc Agnifilo, the attorney for Oren Alexander, acknowledged the brothers as womanizers but denied allegations of rape.

Agnifilo previously defended music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in a different sex trafficking case last year.

Evidence presented to jurors included video footage that allegedly showed Oren Alexander assaulting a 17-year-old girl in his Manhattan residence in 2009.

The trial drew additional scrutiny when a separate allegation arose, with reality TV star and real estate agent Tracy Tutor filing a civil lawsuit accusing Oren Alexander of drugging and sexually assaulting her in New York in 2024.

The defendant’s legal representative characterized the lawsuit as baseless and aimed at gaining media exposure.

The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

US Attorney Jay Clayton stated that the verdict marked a crucial victory in the battle against sex trafficking.

Clayton noted that the jury acknowledged the brutal and calculated nature of the defendants' exploitation of numerous victims.

He added that while the ruling cannot reverse the suffering experienced by those harmed, it sends a clear message of commitment from authorities to tackle sex trafficking.

Following the decision, Agnifilo stated that the defense would persist in contesting the verdict.

Previously, Tal and Oren Alexander worked at Douglas Elliman, handling luxury listings for numerous celebrities, including Liam Gallagher and Kim Kardashian.

In 2022, they established their own real estate firm in New York named Official.

Alon Alexander worked independently at the family’s private security business, Kent Security.

Sentencing for the three brothers is set for August 6, with the possibility of facing life sentences if maximum penalties are imposed.
