Once again, Richard Mofe-Damijo takes on the role of Paul Edima, joined by an impressive lineup that includes Nollywood veterans such as Shaffy Bello, Alex Usifo, Kate Henshaw, Zack Amata, Sola Fosudo, and Ejike Asiegbu. Audiences can also look forward to performances from Bright Okpocha (Basketmouth), Enwongoabasi Ibom, Chidi Ajufo, Ayobami Awe, William Benson, Soibifaa Dokubo, Mallum Arik, Emeka Okoye, and Boki Ofodile. The international cast will be enhanced by the talents of Masami Kosaka and Rick Kiesewetter, indicating a global ambition for this sequel.
The production boasts a substantial scale, backed by a 300-member international crew sourced from the UK, US, China, and Japan. This collaborative effort between Anakle Films and Invention Studios includes Emmy- nominated producer Nicky Weinstock (known for 'Severance') working alongside Editi Effiong and Mimi Bartels. Cinematography will be led by BAFTA-winner Yinka Edward, with David Mosadoluwa contributing to production design, promising a stunning visual representation of the Niger Delta.
