Romeo Beckham appears to have taken sides in his family’s ongoing conflict, after reportedly ‘liking’ a social media post that criticized his sister-in- law, Nicola Peltz.

The Beckham family has been under scrutiny recently following a significant revelation from Brooklyn Beckham, who described his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, as ‘controlling’.

In a notable online interaction, Romeo, 23, was observed engaging with a video shared by influencer Ash Cantley. In the clip, Cantley suggested that ‘Victoria and David are trying to save their son’ and claimed that Nicola, aged 31, was ‘the issue’.

Fans quickly reacted to Romeo's engagement, with one noting: ‘Romeo liked this!’ while another remarked: ‘Not Romeo Beckham liking this!’

During the video, Cantley stated: ‘I take it all back. Nicola is the problem. Victoria and David are trying to rescue their son, and I think Nicola forced him to make that statement.’

Cantley further mentioned an interview with Victoria, in which she expressed her support for women, suggesting one would have to be quite difficult for her not to like them, and she implied that she considered Nicola problematic.

This development follows closely after Cruz Beckham, Romeo’s younger brother, saw his girlfriend Jackie Apostel post a supportive message during the family rift. Apostel published a candid photograph from Cruz’s rehearsal sessions for his imminent tour, tagging Cruz, 20, and their sister Harper Beckham, 14, with the caption: ‘So true.’

Additionally, Harper has shared moments on Instagram featuring her and her brothers, including Brooklyn, with one Valentine’s Day message expressing her love for them and referring to them as ‘the best big brothers in the whole wide world.’

Initially visible only to the 93 followers of her private account, these posts were later reshared by their mother, Victoria.

Despite these public displays of affection, Brooklyn is reportedly not in direct communication with Harper, although he is understood to feel protective towards her. He currently does not follow her on Instagram, and it remains uncertain whether he has blocked her.

The familial tensions come as reports indicate that Brooklyn previously sent a letter to his parents insisting that any future communication be conducted through lawyers. Last month, he also issued a detailed six-page statement on Instagram critiquing his parents, without mentioning Harper.

In related news, Brooklyn has also unfollowed renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, who had expressed hope for healing within the family. Ramsay, a close family friend, stated in an interview: ‘I just want Brooklyn to take a moment for himself. Remember: you’re half mom, half dad. And you’re an amazing young man. Time’s going to be the best healer.’

It is believed that the broader Beckham family still harbors hopes for a reconciliation between Brooklyn, Nicola, and the rest of the family.
