In a recent discussion, Paul Okoye, known in the music scene as Rudeboy, detailed his journey to love, emphasizing a significant moment that confirmed his connection with his spouse, Ivy Zenny.
During an interview with Clout Africa, he expressed that while marriage can be enjoyable, it is not an unchangeable commitment, indicating that separation could be a viable option.
Rudeboy mentioned that much of his music, including 'Reason With Me,' has been shaped by his personal relationship experiences, including a past love.
Following the end of his first marriage, he explored relationships with three different women, all of whom did not meet his expectations. It was only when he met Ivy that he found the companionship he sought.
He highlighted the peace he felt in Ivy's presence and appreciated her genuine nature. A particular episode that touched him was when he invited her to shop; she selected just two outfits and mentioned how the money spent could have purchased multiple items at Tejuosho market, showcasing her practicality.
"She was authentic," Rudeboy remarked during the interview. "Thank you," he replied when this was acknowledged by the host.
Additionally, he touched on his legal matter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), clarifying that he has been acquitted of any accusations against him. "I've been cleared, by the way, by the EFCC. We'll be releasing an official statement soon," he disclosed.
Previously married to Anita Okoye with whom he shares three children, Paul is now happily married to Ivy Zenny, and together they have a daughter.
