Snoop Dogg is mourning the death of his granddaughter, Codi, who has died at the tender age of 10 months.
The sad news was announced by Snoop's daughter, Cori Broadus, on Saturday, January 31.
Cori shared a touching black-and-white image of herself with her daughter on social media, expressing her deep sorrow.
In her heartfelt message, she referred to Codi as the "love of my life" and shared that the baby had passed earlier in the week.
Cori captioned the emotional post with, "Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi," alongside an angel wing emoji.
Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also took to Instagram to share his grief, posting several photos including one of himself with Codi. He expressed, "I've been the saddest since you left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know you're at peace. Daddy will always love you."
Codi was born three months prematurely and spent much of her short life receiving intensive medical care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Despite the numerous challenges, Cori had recently shared positive updates about Codi’s condition, often posting encouraging photos and messages reflecting her hope and faith for her daughter’s survival.
Just weeks before her passing, Cori shared a touching photo of herself with Codi, highlighting that their prayers had been answered and that Codi was showing signs of improvement.
The news of Codi's death has resonated widely, eliciting sympathy and condolences from fans and friends as the Broadus family navigates this tragic loss.
