Susie Wiles, the Chief of Staff to US President Donald Trump, has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, as announced by the President on March 16. Trump stated that Wiles' prognosis is “excellent” and confirmed that she would continue her responsibilities at the White House throughout her treatment.
In a statement shared online, Trump commended Wiles for her unwavering dedication to her position, stating, “Her Strength and her Commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her.”
Trump underscored Wiles' significance in his administration by saying, “Susie, as one of my closest and most important advisors, is tough and deeply committed to serving the American People.”
The President is optimistic about her recovery, stating, “She will soon be better than ever! Melania and I are with her in every way, and we look forward to working with Susie on the many big and wonderful things that are happening for the benefit of our Country!”
Historic for becoming the first woman to hold the position of White House Chief of Staff after Trump's 2024 election victory, Wiles also played a crucial role in the presidential campaign that led to this success.
