A young boy, reported to have been taken by suspected child traffickers from Lafia in Nasarawa State, has been successfully rescued in Abuja.

Aliyu Musa shared details about the incident via a Facebook post on Thursday, March 12, 2026, revealing that security forces captured the suspects while they were in the process of selling the child.

Musa has urged anyone who may have information regarding the child's family to get in touch with Jibrin Ali Baggio or contact him directly at 08147469927.

In his post, he stated, "The boy who was abducted by the traffickers has been found in Abuja. The criminals reportedly snatched him from the College of Agriculture in Lafia and transported him to Abuja with the intent to sell him. "

Thanks to the efforts of security forces, the traffickers were apprehended, and the child has been placed under the care of authorities in Abuja.

Musa's message included a plea for anyone who recognizes the child or knows his family to reach out to Jibrin Ali Baggio or himself at 08147469927, to facilitate a reunion with his parents.

He also encouraged the public to share the post widely in order to assist in locating the boy's relatives.
