Grammy Award-winning artist Tems has made history by becoming the first African female musician to register seven entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
This remarkable achievement was confirmed when her song "What You Need" debuted at number 93 this week.
With her latest entry, Tems now equals Burna Boy and the South African band Seether for the highest appearances by any African artist in the chart's history, totaling seven.
In 2022, she previously made waves by becoming the first African artist to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her hit collaboration "Wait for U," featuring Future and Drake.
Looking ahead, J. Cole's track "Bunce Road Blues," which includes Tems and Future, is expected to enter the Billboard Hot 100 next week, potentially adding to her impressive record.
