This remarkable achievement drew considerable attention from beauty aficionados, fellow creatives, and supporters who engaged with the challenge both in person and online.
Reflecting on her journey, Tesglam stated, “This record embodies discipline, faith, and the strength of community. It wasn't solely my skills that drove me, but the support from those who showed up, prayed, checked in, and believed in me. This belongs to all of us.”
During the event, Tesglam experienced both mental and physical challenges. She shared, “There were instances when I felt utterly drained, but the belief from those around me motivated me to persist. Each face I worked on reminded me of my initial passion for this journey.”
The Lagos State Commissioner for Youth made a special visit during the marathon and later commended Tesglam upon the official confirmation of her record achievement, remarking, “She has not only made Lagos proud but also inspired young creatives to strive for excellence on a global level.”
