Onyeka recounted, "It all began with a simple message. What started as a casual like turned into something more profound than either of us could have expected. We met on social media amidst the countless voices, never guessing a simple message would lead to such a significant conversation. Our chats began early on November 5, 2020, and by later that night, what started as texting had progressed to a FaceTime call that felt more connected than we imagined.
Our discussions ranged from life’s nuances to our hopes and dreams, everything just flowed naturally, as though we had known each other for years. A week later, nerves tingling, we arranged to meet in person. And when we did, it felt as if we resumed from where we had left off, except in real life—sharing in the moment together."
How We Met
Within just 24 hours of seeing each other, Ugo asked if Onyeka would be his girlfriend. She initially hesitated but instinctively realized they were destined to be together—all that had happened since that first day was blissful and seamless. Their connection was genuine, and every moment spent together felt like an endless stream of joy.
