Speaking from personal experience, the on-air personality was straightforward, declaring that she would choose to walk away from a relationship if her partner's family, particularly his mother, did not accept her.
She expressed, "You don't typically win that conflict if you're at odds with the mother, regardless of who is right," asserting that it demands too much emotional investment.
