Local resident Amanda Brewer, who called 911 to report the gunfire, described her experience to AzFamily, saying, "You could hear the blades going. Then there was a very large crash; it shook the house. It was startling."

Brewer reported hearing over 20 gunshots in her Flagstaff neighborhood, where the event unfolded.

Additionally, video footage showed flames engulfing a forested area, prompting officials to advise local residents to shelter in place.

The suspect involved sustained non-fatal injuries after engaging with law enforcement and has since been apprehended, according to police reports.

Authorities have not yet provided information on what caused the helicopter crash, and investigations are ongoing.
