Governor Uba Sani has been acknowledged as a servant leader, with praise for his mentorship that has significantly improved the governance skills of his appointees within the Kaduna State Government over the last two and a half years.

This commendation came from Arc Ibrahim Hamza, the former Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, who expressed his profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve under Governor Sani's administration in a statement released on Monday.

Hamza noted that his choice to resign from his position stemmed from a desire to embark on a new service journey through an elected role at a national level, emphasizing that the decision was not made lightly.

Reflecting on his time in office, former Commissioner Hamza described his service under Governor Uba Sani as akin to undergoing a rigorous leadership training program aimed at enhancing service delivery to the public.

Identifying as one of the Governor’s mentees, Hamza committed to promoting the governance principles and practices he acquired during his tenure, regardless of his future role. He acknowledged that Governor Sani had allowed him the freedom to thrive as a member of the State Executive Council, where he was distinguished as the top-performing Commissioner in the cabinet for both 2024 and 2025.

He remarked that it has been both an honor and a privilege to be part of Governor Uba Sani's team, with the Governor's vision, dedication, and steadfast commitment to advancing Kaduna State serving as a continuous source of inspiration for him.

Hamza also conveyed his appreciation to his colleagues in the Executive Council, thanking them for their cooperation and shared commitment to public service, and noted the invaluable experiences, lessons, and relationships developed during their time together.
