Ultimum Limited, a rapidly expanding food and beverage manufacturing company, has officially launched its state-of-the-art beverage production plant in Aba, Abia State. This marks a significant milestone for both the company and the Kadji Group.

Situated in the Osisioma Industrial Layout, the newly established plant specializes in producing premium variants of the Razzl brand of carbonated soft drinks, which include Razzl Pamplemousse, a distinctive grapefruit flavor, along with Razzl Cola, Razzl Orange, and Razzl Lemon.

The facility is set to enhance local employment opportunities, support nearby businesses, and fortify supply chains throughout the South-East and South- South regions of Nigeria. There are plans to broaden distribution across the country shortly.

During the inauguration, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, the Executive Governor of Abia State, lauded the investment as a promising indicator of economic growth and rising investor confidence within the state.

“Aba is revitalized!” remarked the Governor. He emphasized that the event symbolizes not solely the opening of a manufacturing unit but a renewed faith in the local economy. He added that this investment affirms the establishment of better conditions for businesses to prosper and succeed.

The Governor noted, “Investors are drawn to environments characterized by clarity, stability, and potential. Our objective has been to cultivate such an atmosphere, and today’s event is a testament to the effectiveness of this strategy.”

Speaking at the event, Mr. Whalen Kadji, Chairman of Ultimum Limited and a representative of the investor consortium, highlighted the company's commitment to Aba and Nigeria. “Our presence here is no coincidence. We were attracted by the vibrant spirit of entrepreneurship in Aba. This city has long been a hub for business, and we are optimistic about its future. This plant transcends mere investment in beverages; it represents a commitment to people, job creation, and the development of local industries. We are committed for the long haul, and this marks just the initial phase of our aspirations in this region,” he stated.

Mr. Austin Ufomba, Managing Director of Ultimum Limited, portrayed the plant as a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution. “Ultimum Limited commenced with the vision of producing world-class products on African soil. That vision has become a reality here today. This plant is more than facilities; it is a springboard for innovation, employment opportunities, and excellence. It delivers a clear message that Nigeria can meet global production standards.”

Furthermore, he emphasized, “Beyond our products, we are paving the way for youth empowerment, strengthening communities, and aiding Nigeria's economic expansion and that of the African continent. This investment signifies much more than just business.”

The inauguration of Ultimum Limited’s plant demonstrates that private investments, alongside government reforms, can induce transformative changes in a region. Enhanced infrastructure is placing Aba on the map as a prime destination for large-scale industrial ventures.

This development enhances our operational reach and brings our mission of 'Refreshing Nigeria' to fruition. With our bold flavors, affordable prices, and extensive market access, we are poised to compete at the highest echelons of Nigeria’s beverage sector.
