The Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja, commissioned by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has sustained damage from rainfall, approximately nine months after its inauguration. The terminal, which had not yet been put into public use, had its roof structure dislodged and torn away by strong winds.
The incident occurred in a manner that caused debris from the damaged roof to scatter onto the busy Nyanya-Keffi Expressway. This led to considerable traffic disruption, particularly affecting commuters heading home.
The article includes several photographs documenting the extent of the damage to the bus terminal. Additional images show the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, alongside other dignitaries during the terminal's commissioning ceremony.
