The Yeloto African Children Foundation has honored exceptional students by providing scholarships during the 70th Anniversary Prize-Giving Day ceremony.
Scholarship recipients include: Olusola Uthman Babafemi and Sowande Eniola Iyanu (JSS1–JSS2); Oyetola Emmanuel and Jaiyesimi Oluwadarasimi Wonderful (JSS2–JSS3); Ogunsola Emmanuel Ogooluwa and Okeowo Oluwadarasimi Hanah (JSS3–SS1); Aribilola Praise Abiodun and Oriowo Ireoluwa Laura (SS1–SS2); along with Olakokun Oluwadamilola Victor and Ogungbemi Favour Toluwani (SS2–SS3).
Senior awards were presented to Odini Daniel Diekololaoluwa, serving as the Senior Prefect Boy, and Ogungbemi Joy Ibidun, the Senior Prefect Girl.
During the event, the Yeloto African Children Foundation emphasized the significance of education as a crucial element for societal improvement. They stated that these scholarships serve as a celebration of academic achievement and a commitment to nurturing future leaders who are expected to make meaningful contributions to both national and continental progress.
The Foundation reiterated its dedication to advancing education and fostering the upcoming generation of leaders, congratulating the awardees and the Mayflower School community on 70 years of educational excellence.
Executives from the Mayflower Old Students Association (MOSA) and the management team of Mayflower School expressed their deep gratitude for the sustained provision of the scholarships.
