A young woman from Nigeria has drawn significant criticism for expressing inappropriate thoughts about her parents on social media.
As discussions around payments from social media platforms intensify among Nigerians, numerous individuals are resorting to questionable tactics to ramp up online engagement.
While some users fabricate stories and make false statements to gain popularity, others post inflammatory content intended to provoke anger and interaction among their followers.
In a recent incident, one woman was accused of crossing the line by making provocative sexual comments about her family.
On the platform X, a user known as Enori made the post: "I used to blame my mom for having six children despite my dad's poverty and mistreatment. I never understood until I happened to see my dad naked."
When confronted about her tweet and urged to delete it, she dismissed the concerns, claiming that the outrage would help her earn "5 million".
In a related case last week, another user on X shared a conversation purportedly from a woman he met at the gym, wherein she asks for a large sum to cover her rent. Upon his denial, she resorted to insults. However, it was later found that he had been messaging himself, an act intended to create a false narrative and attract attention.
Several images related to the incident were also circulated, showcasing various reactions and discussions online.
