Governor Dauda Lawal has granted approval for the reinstatement of 650 verified employees across several local government areas in Zamfara State, along with the prompt payment of their salaries.
Engr. Ahmad Garba Yandi, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, made this announcement in a statement released by the ministry, indicating that the decision was made after a detailed verification exercise.
He explained that the verification was conducted by the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to uphold transparency, accountability, and proper procedure in the management of local government staff issues.
The commissioner further stated that the employees were confirmed through a comprehensive screening process that validated their rightful employment and readiness for reinstatement.
This action aligns with the governor’s pledge towards equity, justice, and the welfare of government employees in the state. The approval emphasizes the strong commitment of the Zamfara State Government under Governor Dauda Lawal to fortifying local governance and enhancing the morale of grassroots workers.
