Carpenter Completes 37th and Final Good Friday 'Crucifixion', Forgoes Whipping
A 65-year-old carpenter has marked his 37th and final reenactment of Jesus Christ's suffering on Good Friday. Ruben Enaje, who has been nailed to a cross annually for decades, opted out of physical punishment this year, including whipping and slapping, as he performs the ritual for the last time.
