On Wednesday, the police brought a 29-year-old man named Damola Bankole before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, facing allegations of stealing a motorcycle worth N650,000.
The accused, whose residential address has not been disclosed, faces charges of conspiracy and theft.
Bankole pleaded not guilty to these charges during the court proceedings.
According to the prosecutor, David Adepoju, the alleged crime occurred on December 29, 2025, around 7:10 a.m. in the Ido area of Ibadan.
Adepoju claimed that Bankole collaborated with accomplices, who are currently at large, to steal a motorcycle belonging to Mr. Oyewumi Kolawole, estimated to be worth N650,000. (NAN)
