The ACF conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the traders who suffered losses of critical goods and assets during this latest fire incident, which follows a similar event that took place on February 2.

Umar extended appreciation for the quick action by the Kano State Fire Service, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and other first responders who worked tirelessly to control the fire and reduce further damage.

The Forum urged both state and federal authorities to design and execute strategic measures aimed at preventing such catastrophic incidents in the future.

In a statement released on Sunday by its Publicity Secretary, Nasiru Yusuf Ibrahim, the ACF reiterated its support for the affected traders and called on officials to adopt safety protocols and enhance emergency preparedness in significant markets within the state.
