He pondered whether the government should be held responsible for the price hikes.

"As of Saturday, petrol was priced at N1240 per litre, but by Sunday, March 22, it had jumped to N1340 per litre. Who is responsible for this increase within such a short time? Is it the government or we, the citizens? The actions of the marketers concerning petrol pricing are significant. We are aware of the conflicts in Israel and Iran, but do we not possess our own crude oil? Why then is our petrol so costly? Other nations with oil do not face similar prices. We are essentially inflicting this hardship on ourselves," Okunnu stated.

He concluded by sharing a video discussion of his views.
