Veteran actor Zack Orji has stated that a significant portion of Nigerians tend to overlook the importance of researching economic data. He observed that most individuals readily accept and disseminate information found on social media platforms without verification.

During a recent interview, Orji shared his perspective that the reform measures implemented by the Tinubu administration are starting to yield positive outcomes. He specifically mentioned that the costs of essential food items, such as beans and rice, have reportedly seen a considerable decline.

When confronted with the assertion that Nigerians do not require extensive data to understand that the economic reforms are not working, given their lived experiences of hunger, Orji countered. He argued that experiencing hunger is a universal phenomenon and not an issue exclusive to the current administration, suggesting it has existed historically.
