ADC Launches Campaign Office in Benue Ahead of 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced its campaign efforts for the 2027 senatorial race in Benue South by inaugurating an advisory council and a campaign headquarters for its candidate, Dr. David Olofu.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially kicked off its campaign for the upcoming senatorial elections in the Benue South district by inaugurating an advisory council and unveiling a campaign office dedicated to its aspirant, Dr. David Olofu.

The campaign office was introduced on Sunday, along with the formation of the campaign council, which is led by Sir John Ngbede, with Chris Adaba Abah appointed as the Director General.

During the launch, Olofu expressed that this event signifies a fresh political trajectory for Benue South, emphasizing the necessity for leadership that produces significant results.

He outlined his campaign's objectives, which include creating systems conducive to growth, enhancing security, and expanding opportunities at the grassroots level.

The chairman of the campaign council, Sir John Ngbede, characterized the initiative as a movement aimed at re-establishing the values of Idomaland, highlighting that the council consists of experienced stakeholders dedicated to fulfilling this vision.

The advisory council is made up of notable political figures and professionals, including former Member of the House of Representatives, Godday Samuel, Prof. David Salifu, Chief Patrick Ogbu, Dr. Steve Onmeje, Hassan Saleh, Jacob Ogwuche, Group Captain Steve Adah (rtd), Igbiri Idah, Okpe Onah, and Samson Okwu, among others.
