Armed bandits have taken Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, the North-West Youth Leader for the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization in Zamfara State, in a recent attack within the state capital, Gusau.
Reports indicate that around 30 heavily armed individuals stormed Gusau’s home, abducting him in the presence of his wife.
Security analyst Bakatsine confirmed the details of the incident on Thursday, January 29, 2026, stating that law enforcement agencies were notified promptly following the abduction.
According to Bakatsine, the assailants arrived in significant numbers, overwhelming any possible defense and transporting the victim to an undisclosed location.
