A tragic incident has occurred in Egcuwe, Eastern Cape, South Africa, where a 46-year-old woman identified as Thabisa Mnqwazana was killed by suspected armed robbers. The fatal encounter took place as Mnqwazana was involved in preparations for her late husband's funeral.
Reports indicate that the armed assailants gained entry into her home, where they proceeded to restrain everyone present. Following this, they led Mnqwazana to a separate room.
The robbers allegedly made off with cash and bank cards before resorting to violence.
Thabisa Mnqwazana was shot by the suspects, who then fled the scene of the crime.
As of the latest information, law enforcement authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
